Honestly if I were redesigning MGS3 I'd probably have ditched the Motion Sensor, AP Senor, and Sonar for like, a stick mirror and maybe some kind of distance-measuring device that'd work with the Directional Mic

Something I always found baffling about AI guys is that when they talk about people getting replaced; as if being a "prompt engineer"/"ai-augmented"/whatever other stupid name they come up with for a mechanical turk-soothsayer isn't the most obviously replaceable job in the world

Still annoyed by the framing of individual examples of sexualized women in games as the problem, rather than systemic lack of unsexualized women. So many articles about whether Bayonetta was problematic or not, whether the Dragons Crown Sorceress' was somehow pedophilic imagery or not.

I do genuinely believe that the way entertainment journalists wrote opinion pieces about sexualized characters in the 2010s did have a strong impact on the waves of internet censorship today. It's not that conservative outlooks needed an excuse, but that it conditioned the left to not defend sex.
