"ישראל האחרת" מציעה אולי מצפון, אך לא חשבון נפש ושינוי | דעה
הביטוי "גרמניה האחרת" נכנס לשיח הציבורי בישראל בראשית שנות ה–50, בתקופת הדיונים על הסכמי השילומים, אך מקורו מוקדם בהרבה: עיתון קטן בברלין של שנות ה–20 נשא שם זה

Due to Tennessee’s abortion ban, Mayron Hollis was forced to continue a pregnancy that threatened her life. An emergency delivery left her without a uterus and her baby with medical issues.

This was their first year in a post-Roe state (pub. Feb. 2024):
She Was Denied an Abortion After Roe Fell. This Is a Year in Her Family’s Life.
Tennessee law prohibits women from having abortions in nearly all circumstances. But once the babies are here, the state provides little help. We followed one family as they struggled to make it.

PAY ATTENTION: ICE is filing fake 911 calls in Chicago, weaponizing emergency services to provoke local police.

Ordinary citizens would be charged with a felony. ICE calls it strategy.

FYI: in Israel, which despite its current psychotic status still has a better health system than in the US, #COVID vaccines are only recommended for people at risk (i.e., have a chronic illness, are 65+, are pregnant).
JFK Jr is mad as the Mad Hatter, but on the COVID vaccine he's not wrong.

@nicollewallace.bsky.social the ad for Deadline Whitehouse - you think "we should have faith it will all be ok" needs to be taken down. It's White privilege BS. Be ok for who? Immigrants deported to Rwanda? Black & Brown poor who were barely survived before and now don't have SNAP? #detached

@allinwithchris.bsky.social thank you for interviewing Omar El Akkad, especially given that MSNBC keeps silencing and sidelining critics of Israel's genocidal war on Gaza.
Please share the segment so people outside the US can watch and listen to this important voice.

Despite platforming @maddow.msnbc.com who champions the resistance, #MSNBC fails to understand that resistance starts at home. @ayman.msnbc.com is a truth-teller and watering down his show to weekend info-tainment is shameful. Here's an example

@maddow.msnbc.com can't believe we're back in Trump-Russia conspiracy theory realm again. It didn't work the 1st time and won't work now. Trump is an ignorant bully and an autocrat who likes like-minded autocrats, e.g., Putin, Orban, Bin Salman, etc.
please stop 🙏🏼
