This probably won't be the finished piece, but I still think it is good enough to share. I am unsure about the readability too.
Mostly outline and shading I would work on. Therefor feedback is welcome.

Today I spend my time making a halftile set from the pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen tileset. And a halfed tiles sheet.

This has been good practice to eventually make my own pokémon inspired tiles for my project =)
