One of the parts I find most disingenuous about the "artists are just afraid of new technology, like how people used to be afraid of BOOKS!" A/I argument is that artists have often been early adopters of digital technology in their workflow and were subsequently called lazy cheats for it lmao

I saw a headcanon that Luffy's connection to Law lets him hear his Voice louder than others and I just think that's neat. 👉👈

It's the middle of the night on the Thousand Sunny in the men's bunkroom, the top panel shows Sanji fast asleep face down into his pillow and hips in the air. A 'ker-clunk' off screen wakes him, two panels show him rising blearily and lifting an eye mask covered in printed hearts onto his head. At the bottom of the page is a wide shot of the dark bunkroom, light from outside spilling in from the open door as Sanji leaves dressed in a robe and fuzzy slippers in the background. In the foreground Franky is fast asleep on the top bunk, his massive arms hanging off the side and Chopper is on the bunk below curled into a ball around a blanket. The page is colored in deep purples with contrasting yellows. Sanji walks across the deck of the Thousand Sunny at the top of the page, the moonlight casting his shadow long against the wall. He puts a cigarette into his mouth as he makes his way to the stairs. A panel in the middle shows him waving to Jinbei at the helm in the distance, the darkened sky is lit up with stars and a full moon. At the bottom of the page Sanji descends the stairs with a haggard expression, dressed in only his pajamas. In the middle panel Luffy releases the chain with a snap and goes flying into the wall stretching the side of the panel like it's part of the environment. The lock and chain collide with the fridge folding it in on itself. The bottom of the page is taken up with a scene of Luffy pinballing around the kitchen. As he collides with the ceiling and walls the surface deforms around him. Each bump is accented with "sproing", "plunk", before finally landing him, "splat" ass over teakettle face first into the floor. The locked fridge stands resolutely in the foreground and Sanji watches in the background by the door.
