Super Bowl era, here's where Jonathan Taylor's first eight games this year stack up against other running backs for fantasy points. A ton of royalty on this list, and a couple of underrated combination backs. Also, OJ 1975 >>> 1973.
If Rico Dowdle breaks off that 168-yard touchdown run, I'm going to hit my bold prediction this week. AMA.

Arch Manning gives me the Trevor Lawrence vibe. Not that he's bad but I don't see greatness. Maybe it's coming.

So, those 14 targets Chase Brown had last week? Kind of a big deal. A back has gotten to that number just twice this year, just 13 times in six years. Dating back to 1978 (when target data begins), 114 times for an RB. Obviously the Samaje Perine injury opens it up for Brown.

Rewatching the Vikings and Ravens tonight, because any time you have an opportunity to catch an offense taking eight false start penalties, gotta do it.

I like how the Patriots lead the league in third quarter point differential. That screams out "coaching."

He's right, of course.
"No preparation, no time to recover, no chance. Get rid of these Thursday night games! Dump them! It’s not fair to the players, it’s not fair to the coaches." - Jon Gruden

A classy man, respected by all. It's a joke Lenny Wilkens didn't win Coach of the Year for turning the 1978 Sonics around (he inherited a 5-17 team, retooled lineup, took them to NBA Finals). RIP, Lenny.
RIP Lenny Wilkens, prayers to his family 🙏🏾💚

Last weekend: great range session, can't wait to play again.

This weekend: snow.

Finally had the golden 5-0 last week in Darts. This week, would happily take 3-2.

The throws:

- Giants +4.5
- Bills -8
- Jags/Texans under 37.5
- Lions -8
- Steelers +2.5

Buena suerte.

Deion Sanders is now 16-18 since he joined Colorado. Somehow won Sportsman of the Year in a season when he went 4-8.

I know we want to be careful with recency bias, I've tried to let it breathe a little bit. But that was definitely the best World Series of my lifetime. Drama, heroes, constant changing of the lead in games and in series, strategy, so many memorable plays. The new peak.

Davante Adams was WR5 after the trade last year, which is obviously excellent. But this case doesn't fit the usual frame -- Rodgers and Adams are a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Thousands of reps, two HOFers who know every move. Monroe and Frazier, Mike McD and Worm.
Keep in mind the history of in-season receiver trades is checkered at best; usually the WR struggles in new spot. Amari Cooper did well moving from OAK to DAL; shift to Buffalo was a flop. Randy Moss rejoined the Vikings, had little left. Roy Williams missed in Dallas.
November 4, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Sauce Gardner is obviously an impact player, though he wasn't great last year. But two first-round picks is a major return. Great move for the Jets. Reboot.
November 4, 2025 at 6:01 PM
OBJ was probably more helpful to the team than to fantasy after the shift to the Rams in 2021, but you're right to mention Beckham as a hit. He was useful. Graded WR28 after joining LAR.
OBJ was a big reason the Rams won a SB

Unlike Parker Washington (I'm still kinda interested), Tory Horton probably gets significantly hurt by Rashid Shaheed moving to Seattle. Saints wise to move whatever non-essential stuff they can, and probably went out of their way to feature Shaheed last week.

I guess leaving the Raiders is good for Jakobi Meyers, but I'll be shocked if he's anything past a quasi-WR3. Chemistry takes time. Trevor Lawrence hasn't been a king maker for anyone. Parker Washington peeps aren't thrilled, but he's already in the building; still make a bid.
