Remember: trauma responses almost always have a bit of flashback hooked into them. Realistically managing fight, flight, freeze, fawn, or flop reflexes requires us to connect w/ & support the "part" of us that is, in that moment, frozen in a past moment of pain or panic.

A bubble tea + coffee spot opened in my community and I sat there with friends for hours after our initial drink purchase and the owner kept offering us more snacks/food for free while we were sitting there chatting. Places like this need to be supported to the max
I wanna see a municipality replicate the Starbucks mod of creating coffee spots where folks can gather and communicate, with the exception that you won't get kicked out if you don't pay for an overpriced coffee.
