If you're a student and you're generating your class work, you're hurting yourself. This will damage your long term potential. Now is when you learn to synthesis and develop new ideas from existing, complex, information. Skip that and you lose out for a lifetime.

I consider this a pretty good self own. I asked Meta's AI about Llama 3 running locally and the data it preferred and it could not answer me - in fact, it refused the message.🤣

Let me tell you folks, not caring if you're liked at work is so freeing - I 100% recommend it.

I am always left wondering about the colonized mindset of white dudes writing game coding tutorials who have to frame every single example as an enemy, weapon, collection, or damage point. What world are you wanting to create? What does this say about you, the culture?

Why is coffee the most perfect thing ever? Honestly, it’s the only proof have that there could be a god. 😂

If you have energy to moan about a color company choosing a soft white as color of the year for 2026 but haven’t written a letter to an elected official or taken direct action in a protest this year you’re worried about the wrong things.

I'm pretty sure the entire point of social media is to make artists feel like they need to do more / work harder for the machine overloads today....

15 years ago today I was hanging my first AR / Illustration piece. How is the tech still just not massive? It's so weird to me it never caught on.

Related note I saw a group of film student ladies in my garden in classic form shooting on super 8 yesterday.
Leopard coats ✅
Red lipstick ✅
Laying on the ground half dressed in the sun looking impossibly beautiful ✅
This gave me more faith that the kids are ok than anything I’ve seen in years. ❤️

Finally getting around to playing with the open source models in ComfyUI and it’s making me feel really creative again. I have so many days of footage I can play with from my archive I’m excited to see what weirdness I can create with it.

I'm pro machine learning and against AI slop, closed models, and theft. Great stuff is happening but just not where you might happen to be looking, and like anything, sustainable pro-humanity solutions are not always incentivised. We have to work together to create a sustainable AI future.

Tonight I got this little momma, the sister of the first cat I recused. Both these little girls were pregnant and as adorable as they come. She is at the Celia Hammond trust. The security guard caught her for me finally right before the building are demolished.
