About 20 years ago, Jesse Jackson came to Fernandina Beach, a small town in Northeast Florida for a rally. It was after midnight and hundreds of people showed up. He was a magnet for those who felt left out. He will be missed.

Congratulations to Democrat Chasity Martinez on her landslide win in the Louisiana State House District 60 Special Elections tonight. Trump won the district by 13 points in 2024. Chasity won by 24 points over the Republican candidate.

North Carolina Republicans wanted to pick up one seat so they redistricted. Now there are no SAFE Republican seats and Democrats could flip every race, in a good year. Hoping this is a good year.
