Just listening to 6 Music & Lauren Laverne. She introduces a new tune and all goes quiet except the distant sound of street noise… I relax thinking this is v chilled. 5 mins later she reappears to finish introducing the tune. Turns out internet dropped and i was listening to Oxford thru open window!

Cataract out… new lens in! No extra laser installed as hoped, so hey ho. The experience was like the trippy bit at the end of 2001 A Space Odyssey… not awful but did go on a bit… with a sense of relief when it was over.
