Senior councillors in Aberdeen have voted to start a fresh consultation on plans to remove a "no right turn" rule in the city centre. Councillors voted back in October but another meeting had to be called after officials admitted it wasn't competent and could be challenged in court.

NEW: The Scottish government could abandon its commitment to dual carriageway the A96 from Inverness to Aberdeen.

Transport Scotland has put forward a "Refined Package" including more electric charging stations and new bypasses at Elgin and Keith.

Some children in Aberdeenshire have been enjoying another day off school, as the wintry weather continues to grip parts of Scotland.
The sledges were out in Dunecht, as a yellow warning for snow and ice ended. Attention now turns to the expected arrival of #StormBert tomorrow.

Stagecoach say nobody was hurt after a bus hit ice and tipped over on the A952 between Mintlaw and Fraserburgh at around 06:50 this morning. One passenger was on board.

X67 and X68 services are suspended until further notice as the company assesses road conditions.

Nice to be back!

It’s been more than 18 months since I last worked a shift at Pacific Quay, so it was nice to head down from
Aberdeen to spend a few days seeing friends and doing the news.
