A weekend of mixed fortunes for my Swiss in Plymouth this weekend. 2 losses (really should have won one of those as I was ahead on breakpoints until I made a daft mistake), one winning draw & a win.
Highlight was my light crossbows killing a knight to break the Serbian Empire army. #adlg #wargaming

Too many projects on the go at once! Finished these Putepecha swordsmen for #ADLG and almost completed the last 2 stands of Assyrians that I’ve been putting off working on. Plymouth Wargames show next weekend with the Swiss for #28mm competition. #wargaming #figurepainting

These are all #28mm Swiss Halberdiers from different companies. L to R: Athena Miniatures, Lancashire Games, Petty Miniatures and Warlord Games. Perry are smaller than the others but they all seem to work together on mixed bases. Out of 12 Athena figures I had 12 different poses/outfits. #wargaming

I’ve had an evening of drilling, cutting & gluing #28mm Swiss halberds from Venezia. The figures aren’t a bad size match for Perry figures & as I didn’t like all the Venezia heads I’ve used some from the Perry plastics & the metal Swiss heads they sell. The Venezia halberds are longer & heavier.
