We hope UN human rights chief pressed #EU ministers at yesterday's #FAC to back strong UN convention on crimes against humanity that includes crime of gender apartheid.

EU position on this remains to be known. Its full support is needed.

#EU has a role to address human rights in #Rwanda - but not by legitimizing institutions that undermine human rights. It's unfortunately what @ec.europa.eu's DG Partnerships' Justice & Accountability Program wrongly does with quotes like the one below.
