Need to learn how to do simulation based power analysis for project planning and grants?

In my last workshop for me for the summer, I teach folks how to use Mplus to do flexible power analysis for everything from regression to multilevel SEMs.

Please RT! 🙏

Grant submission is officially done, so it's time for the ultimate academic reward: working on another grant!

Only somewhat kidding. The other ultimate reward is reading a comically large fantasy book and trying to remember who everyone is!

Pleased to share this new paper led by Peter Grau @phdgrau.bsky.social. We find that some veterans may need additional EBPs after a course of PE or CPT, e.g. those with sleep disorders, substance use disorders, or history of military sexual trauma

This letter from Hyman is 🔥🔥🔥

I love the way he writes, and here he offers withering criticism of any serious consideration of mental illness as discrete categorical “diseases.” How anyone could hold that view in 2024 is beyond me given the wealth of data. Same goes for direct clinical experience.

It is officially grant resubmission / scary move season. My life is fuller when I dabble in various types of dread.
