It's great to be back! I've been busy with a job change (**LOVING** my new position for PCFC)... but it was also due to a horrible person (poorly cut cheap suits, bad shoes, terrible attitude) stalking my social media. Twat. Anyhooo, I'm back!

its been a while... in the latest "unpronounceable drugs names" meme:
Isavuconazonium Sulfate
Its an anti fungal - which is pretty typical, since trying to find a mycologist these days is about as hard as pronouncing this drug name.
Trade name "Cresemba" is more manageable.

A brief rant on the criticality of routes of administration and bioavailability:
Phenylephrine *does* work but INTRANASALLY. It has very low bioavailability orally.
to FDA: 👍 withdraw oral forms.
Also 👍 to the profs in FL for getting FDA to apply basic 2nd yr pharmacology. 🧪

Things to love about living rural: we gave our hunting permit (cannot buy for love or money, need to be a landowner) to the guy that hauls away our manure pile each year, and he dropped off pheasant today. Got to talking, we're going to trade for smoked fish in the spring. 😀

Codeine literally doesn't work for ~30% of the population, may as well take a tsp of chalk.

Having electronic medical records brought about a significant decline in documenting physical exam, so much so that it almost never seems to reflect the actual physical exam unless you free text things in and hardly anyone bothers to do it
