Zelenskyy: I’ve already signed deals with Putin and that didn’t work.
Vance:How dare you?

Vance is a dumb person’s idea of what a smart person is like.

This just shows that any honorable person with moral fiber is not going to let Trump trample over him like a bully in the playground, and then leave no definitive security arrangements.

How much more evidence do we need that Trump is basically doing Putin’s bidding?

In the wealthiest nation on earth, 25% of seniors should not be living on $15,000 a year or less.

We should EXPAND Social Security, not cut it. I will soon be introducing legislation to significantly raise Social Security benefits and extend the solvency of the program.

At least $12 *trillion* from global oligarchs is hidden offshore in secret tax havens worldwide. And it is headquartered right here in the USA.

Instead of cutting lifesaving programs like the VA, Medicaid, and food stamps, we should be cracking down on tax havens for the ultra-rich.

I honestly don’t know if I can make it through four years of this daily brinksmanship. It’s so fucking childish it’s beyond belief.

I can not ever remember a head of state in a democracy whose primary criteria for selecting the members of his cabinet was unwavering loyalty to the President,no matter how inadequate their qualifications . Really, is the fire in the Reichstag next?

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

I have never seen anyone flip as quickly as Robert F. Kennedy did on the question of whether a woman has the right to control her own body.

Sad to say, but at this time the US has lost any claim to be the beacon of good intentions, packed by powerful resources throughout the world. The rest of the world was inspired by Kennedy, and depended on Reagan steadfast opposition to Soviet hegemony. Now we are just a big bully, that’s about it.

Trump said he wants to “clean out” Gaza and push the millions of Palestinians living there into neighboring countries.

There is a name for this — ethnic cleansing — and it’s a war crime.

This outrageous idea should be condemned by every American.

While 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, Musk, Bezos and Zuckerberg, combined, own more wealth than the bottom half of America.

Apparently, that’s not enough. Republicans want to give them a massive tax break by slashing Medicaid.

Together, we will stop them.

Let’s see. Who have we alienated so far? The Danish, the Colombians, the Brazilians, the Canadians, the Mexicans.Think global tariff wars are going to accrue to the benefit of the United States? Guess again. Think CHINA. All this to placate the most poorly educated Americans? Can you say, BACKLASH?

It used to be said that Trump should be taken seriously, but not literally. On the contrary, he should be taken neither seriously, nor literally. If he is proving anything, it is that he is an ineffectual buffoon who will wreak so much havoc that the politics will swin the other way Very soon.

Aside from having no morals whatsoever, Trump is just plain stupid. His idea that he is going to be able to lower the federal interest rate just from barking about it or increase oil production when prices are as low as they are. It’s just plain stupid. The public has no idea how stupid he is.

Trump’s policy positions are outside the American mainstream. The only way a narcissistic, mostly delusional, wannabe TV personality can get elected is in a country that uses the Electoral College . Nothing he does will have long lasting consequences. He is inept. Let him punch himself out.

Overall television viewership of Monday's inauguration was the lowest in a decade. Less than 25mn Americans tuned in to watch Trump take oath as US president, down from nearly 34mn who watched Biden's 2021 inauguration and 31mn who viewed Trump's 2017 ceremony, according to Nielsen data.

The big question now is whether to give Trump any attention at all or not. What he wants is to get in the ring with all the Democrats ,the more TV the better, and simply create more chaos. What is wrong with playing rope a dope with him? He is too incompetent to do much, and it won’t last anyway.
