Nov 29th marks the 11th annual Children and Youth in Care Day in NB — a day to celebrate the resilience and leadership of youth in the provincial care system. This year, the NBYICN is hosting events in Dieppe, Campbellton, and Saint John.

November 29 is New Brunswick Children and Youth in Care Day. NBYICN is hosting youth events across NB and joining a roundtable with the Minister of Social Development. Since 2010, the network has helped shape care policy while building connections and leadership for youth in care.

Sport3 is a middle school program for youth that builds better conversations through sport. Using a gameplay approach, the focus isn’t on winning—it’s on fair play, gender equality, teamwork, and respect. Thanks to our facilitators Tom, Lily, Brittany, and Chris for bringing the program to life!

The 15th annual Ring A Bell campaign is taking place from December 8–12 this year! Coordinated by Dots NB / PFY in collaboration with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, the campaign engages K–8 students in mental health and wellness activities across the province.

PFY Connect is a youth-focused rapid access mental health program that connects young people with licensed counselling therapy. We partner with over 100 licensed therapists across NB and beyond, offering youth choice, flexibility, and access to a wide range of expertise.

PFY Connect is a rapid-access counselling program that offers free, licensed therapy for youth ages 14-24.

The referral process is simple: youth can refer themselves, refer a friend, or be referred by family, teacher, guidance counsellor, or community partner–by phone or through our website.
