At the airport! My checked bag was 49lbs 😂 just shy of the limit. It was 47 when I measured at home though, so I think they’re cheating a little. My card game is in my carryon and the security people were puzzled by it. Very nicely took a look and put it back.

I might be ready? I just have to pack my bras, but I always air dry them and they’re not ready yet. I also might need to pull something out of my suitcase if it’s too heavy but that’s a tomorrow morning problem. I checked it once and it was three pounds away from the limit. But it’s fine. 😅

I really like this new mattress topper. It’s a bit bigger than my mattress on all sides and it makes it so tall that I need to buy new fitted sheets. Right now I’m just using a flat sheet. It’s fine when I’m on top, but I have to kind of jump a little and launch myself to get up there. 😂

I really like this new mattress topper. It’s a bit bigger than my mattress on all sides and it makes it so tall that I need to buy new fitted sheets. Right now I’m just using a flat sheet. It’s fine when I’m on top, but I have to kind of jump a little and launch myself to get up there. 😂

I picked up the copies of the free cross stitch pattern I made to give away on the Star Trek cruise and they look so good! I’m psyched. I can’t wait to finally show you all here what it looks like too. It’s so cute! I’m really pleased with it.

It is very nice and I wish I could just lay on it all day. I’m not sure about life changing yet, but it does feel really good to not be able to feel all the springs in this cheap Walmart mattress my parents bought.
Okay, last year I bought fancy pillows and one wasn’t great, but the other one changed my life. Now I’ve purchased a thick, memory foam mattress topper. It seems cool rolled out on the floor to expand from compression. Here’s hoping it’s also life changing, because I’m tired of being so achy.

This, but the TWoP boards for Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars. And as an added bonus you’d be mercilessly ridiculed for grammar mistakes or typos. You had to be both fast and accurate. Kind of toxic, but I did get really good at typing.
My adolescence can be precisely described by the fact that I learned to touch-type by hanging out in a busy X-Files chat room on CompuServe where I had to break typing speed records to get my deep and insightful comments in before the conversation moved on

She’s coming along. I spent a looong time figuring out what to do with the bow tie, but I finally just cut off the long tail and safety pinned it to the shirt. (It’s a cute shirt and I’d like to be able to wear it with other things too.)

It’s been like three weeks, and still every day you hear people outside chopping at the ice and trying to shovel it. Warmer temperatures lately have helped, but it’s still all over the place.

I enjoyed this week’s SFA again, but the end of the opening scene had some ridiculously bad continuity problems, which makes me a bit concerned about the show. You don’t even have to watch closely to see the shots switch between ones of Caleb wearing just underwear and ones wearing track pants.

I put together a little emergency sewing kit for the cruise, and I was just going to label it with a Sharpie, but then I realized I had the PERFECT sticker for it. 🤣
