Amazon, please stop asking me if books I bought month ago met my expectations. I still have unread books I bought in 2012. Be real.

A few years ago I read an article where an author (I believe it was Jane Smiley) said that a friend of hers had this quote taped to their wall. When I feel like writing is a chore I like to remind myself that novel writing isn’t an obligation, it’s a choice, and to try and enjoy the process!
