A new U.S. Surgeon General's Advisory on alcohol and cancer risk has been released, informed by risk information from our 2021 alcohol and cancer risk study.

A new study led by Dr Mahdi Sheikh of the International Agency for Research on Cancer finds that regular use of pharmaceutical opioids is associated with increased risk of cancers previously linked to opium consumption:

According to a new @gallup.com survey, 54% of Americans report consuming #alcohol, the lowest proportion ever recorded. The proportion who perceive drinking one or two drinks per day to be bad for health has also increased to 53%:

A longitudinal study has found that compared to those who have never vaped or smoked, #vaping is associated with more than double the risk of developing COPD:
