We have been trying for years to challenge the use of ‘expats’ as opposed to immigrants. Which is what we are & proud to be so
It’s also not easy to be an immigrant. It takes guts, adaptability & determination. Even if as Brits we have some privilege ie English

These are not expats, they are immigrants.
You don’t “expat” somewhere, you emigrate, and that makes you an immigrant.
I have never heard anyone refer to “Bangladeshi Expats” or “Polish Expats”, it’s always immigrants, so why not here?

Such a bold clarity in the design of these beautifully block printed lino cuts. Reminded me of some of the very best "machine age" prints from the 1930s
The range of colours you can get from four blocks of lino never fails to amaze me!

Such a bold clarity in the design of these beautifully block printed lino cuts. Reminded me of some of the very best "machine age" prints from the 1930s
Also: If you don't have money to buy my (or anyone's) books, and you live in the anglosphere, before you pirate them, try to get them from your local library instead. They have it or can get it, they pay for the books, and in many places writers get paid for their books being lent. Everyone wins!
