Red-backed Shrike on the RSPB Reserve today. Later there was a Whinchat on the same bush. One Glossy Ibis seen in flight at the back of Cook's Pool with about 6? Cattle Egrets with cows near there. #kentbirding

Two species this morning which were only 2nd garden records. Promolactis procerella was the first for 7 years, and Epiblema scutulana followed my first last year. Boughton-under-Blean. #teammoth

I had quite a lot of trouble getting a record shot of the Light Crimson Underwing this morning, a new one for the garden. My 2nd ever Lunar Spotted Pinion was a bit more co-operative. Also Onacera semirubella was the first for 3 years.Boughton-under-Blean. #teammoth
