Movie No. 4 another war film directed by Alex Garland “Civil War” Garland gives a scarily real depiction of what a modern civil war would be like today. This movie is a not so subtle warning for what division in our country could bring us to, again. #MWrSp261

Movie No. 3 “Warfare” directed by Alex Garland and Iraqi War Veteran Ray Mendoza. This movie is as accurate of a depiction of a battle as you can get taking place in Ramadi, Iraq. A super eye opening movie about the reality of war and how quickly things can go wrong. #MWrSp261

Movie No. 2 “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” Directed by and starring Ben Stiller. This movie is extremely underrated. My favorite line is, “Beautiful things don’t ask for attention.” Watch for the use of color as a metaphor for Walter’s transition from a dull life to a vibrant one #MWrSp261

Having seen over 1,000 movies, I figured I’d recommend a few stand outs I’ve seen over the years.

First up is “The Butler” directed by Lee Daniels. This movie follows the life of Cecil Gaines, a White House butler that worked through several administrations and the civil rights movement. #MWrSp261
