The third episode is out! It's mostly about Daniel Naroditsky as I try to break down the difficult past week that we all had. It also includes a segment where I speak to David Navara:

A bright spot in an otherwise garbage week. I follow chess news pretty closely and Peter always has some fun color or details I would have otherwise missed.

Highly recommended
I was about to upload the second episode when I heard about Danya and couldn't get myself to sharing it. Still in shock. Anyway, here it is. New name also.

With Lazavik-Gurel making the rounds, it shouldn't be hard to find what Arthur de Winter missed in his black game vs. Dimitri Reinderman (Groningen 2023).

Played my first OTB tournament in 2.5 years last week. Proud of a move I found in the final round, even though several moves win. 24...Bd5! prevented 25.d5 complicating slightly. I saw 25.Bxg4 Rc4 26.Be5 Bxe5+ 27.dxe5 e6 28.Kg3 Ra4 29.Bf3 Rxa2 30.Rxa2 Bxa2 31.Bxb7 a5 -+

2025 has been a tough year so far. After Robert Hübner and Boris Spassky, we now also have to say goodbye to Vlastimil Hort. 😢

In yesterday's league game I could answer my opponent's 27.Nd5? with the lovely 27...Qd2! after which 28.Nc3 back was forced. I won with 28...Bxc3 29.bxc3 Qxd1+ 30.Kb3 Rxa2+! and White resigned a few moves later. The engine showed the nice defense 29.Rd7! Bd4! 30.Qxg7+! with a probable draw.
