Hey, in case you missed it, I'm moving ahead with the #horror anthology OF DREAD, DECAY, AND DOOM for @starsandsabers.bsky.social; it is pushed to June 2026. We're now using Ko-fi to fund, which has no expiration or pressure. Authors can get paid more quickly as funding arrives.

Update: my Reno noir story MURDER ME IN THE NEON LIGHTS will appear in the Jan/Feb ‘26 issue of EQMM instead of Sep/Oct ‘25. Sorry for the confusion!
Great news to share: my 1950s Reno noir story about a neon sign maker caught up in a mob racket will appear in the September/October 2025 issue of Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine!

My first submission to EQMM was eight years ago--never give up!!

I’ve had fun with my anthologies. The 1st was WWI, a commercial topic to get things going. The 2nd is the Scientific Rev, which isn’t commercial. Hitting ignored eras is the real point of these, so we’ll see how it goes. If it makes its money back, we’ll go ancient with the 3rd.
