Some (probably very obvious) thoughts from yesterday.

You can't play a back 7 and still concede 4. Especially with the majority scored by players in acres of space.

At least with the despicable Conte, we had the patterns of play going forward - there was a semblance of an attacking plan.

Gotta give Kolo Muani at least half hour here.

Feel like we've tried to play our football there. Newcastle were always going to be up for it, think we are in this. Johnson should be using his pace against Burn more, think Kudus could have joy there. COYS!

Christ, the Discover feed on here is a mess. Feel like my @bsky.app experience will be short lived.

@tehtrunk.bsky.social Hi Jack - do you have an affiliate link for NordVPN? Avid listener of the pod so a little kickback for you from signing up is the least I can do!

When is the Sonny mural going up @tottenhamhotspur.com / MurWalls?

Either of these will do... #COYS #THFC

My big Ange/Levy conspiracy theory:

Ange knew he was gone before the final. Everything he said after (season 3 better than season 2 etc) was to heap all the pressure back on Levy as it made it sound like he was sacked *despite* the EL win.

That's why Levy didn't comment in the announcement.

I, for one, am amazed the pitch was in such good condition after there were screens and supporters on it just 4 days ago.

Honestly thought it would be unplayable. Can totally see why the club were so worried. #thfc @thstofficial.bsky.social

The last few days have been just unreal. Imagine thinking finishing 4th could be better than this. Absolute scenes. #COYS

Just listened back to @bbc5live.bsky.social 606 from Wednesday.

What on earth was Tony Livesey's problem with Spurs? Quoting endless stats from the match, talking about out league form. Literally none of it matters, we won the trophy.

Very weird bitterness to try and undermine our celebrations.

Saw Ange has been gaslighting the fans again, claiming that our cup runs are the reason we are 17th. Honestly mate, just do one of your good team talks, win us the Europa and then go and treat another clubs fans like they are thick.
May 11, 2025 at 10:00 PM
Obviously we have bigger fish to fry and this season is now all about money thing, but once again we look like a team that has very little idea of what we are trying to do.

Very concerned that if we keep Ange in charge, we are in a proper relegation battle next season.

Having seen Lazio's fans at a game first hand, I'm devastated for them to get their hopes up and then get them dashed on pens. Couldn't have happened to a nicer club.

Absolutely did not see that performance coming tonight. Fair play lads. Really battled for it. #COYS

Was my thoughts weeks ago. We'd be better off hoping on a bounce from a caretaker manager than a toxic one who's increasingly showing himself to be hopeless tactically and utterly thin-skinned, despite initially seeming like he'd be likeable.

Mask slipped before the City game last year.
Unfortunately, goading the fans means there’s no longer a serious argument that Ange should stay until the Europa campaign ends. The atmosphere will be toxic, particularly in the bad moments, and any change whatsoever now looks more likely to give us a chance of stumbling on in the competition.

Yet another miserable performance. This season is going absolutely nowhere and there is painfully long to go. Dreadful result again.
March 16, 2025 at 3:53 PM
Lovely finish from Odobert for that goal. Still pretty concerning that we have no idea how to break down even the most average of sides without a deflection from a half hearted press. Look pretty clueless in the final 3rd atm and the final ball is dreadful.

Spurs freezing ST prices is good news obviously (not that they could get away with anything different after this shitshow of a season).

But they'll more than make their money back on forcing people to become members in order to use Ticket Share function. Very cleverly snuck in there.
March 12, 2025 at 9:53 PM
Have to say I'm stunned that Bentancur is still on the pitch here.
March 9, 2025 at 3:02 PM
That's it for me with Ange I'm afraid. We've been absolutely dreadful for about a year now, it's not getting any better and it's wasn't much better before the injuries began.

Just a miserable, miserable season. Worst of my life when comparing hope vs reality.

The last episode of season 1 of #Severance ("The We We Are") is an absolute masterpiece.

Up there with Fishes/Forks from The Bear, Ozymandias from Breaking Bad and the rest. Brilliant TV.
