Out pollen collecting 🐝

🐝 made good progress on the fondant, was expecting to be replacing an empty bag but still out and about and collecting pollen when the suns out

Quick check on bees and still look well, even started on the fondant 😋 🐝

New clear crown board in place a week now. Pleased there’s no build up of condensation which I was nervous about 😬 let’s see how they get on as the temperature drops over the next few months plus I can spy on them now without opening the main hive 🕵️‍♂️ ❄️ 🐝

1st inspection complete, bees have settled in and doing their thing 🐝

Great few hours today at local apiary, even made up my first frame 🐝🍯

A busy run up to the day, but what’s unfolded has possibly been the first peaceful Christmas for us in a long time. @percysalmon.bsky.social and I needed it. Thankful. ❤️
