The Holidays also brought me another great book, the first English-language edition of "Petra Chérie," by Attilio Micheluzzi. I've had this in Italian for decades and loved the art, but could never read it until now. Thanks, Santa (and #fantagraphics)! #attiliomicheluzzi #christmas #comics

Tonight's Bedtime Reading: The Complete "Girl Comics," an Atlas Comics Library collection, edited by Dr. Michael J. Vassallo. I'm excited to start digging into this! Glancing through, I already found one unexpected treasure: a page from a previously unknown to me Dan DeCarlo-drawn romance story!

Tonight's Bedtime Reading: "How to Marry a Murderer," the third Paige Turner mystery, by Amanda Matetsky. I loved the first two books in this series so much that I contacted Amanda about to working together about 20 years ago. We cooked up some good ideas but couldn't get any publishers interested.

Last night I got to see one of my favorite, new Chicago bands, Madame Reaper, live for the first time, after listening to their music online for a while. And they didn't disappoint! Fantastic show! My video doesn't really capture how good they sounded, but it will give you a taste. #music #synthpop
