Policy change is difficult, so let’s celebrate a win.

In 2020 we proposed creating a PA add-on to the federal earned income tax cut. We and partners in @pennsyltogether.bsky.social advocated for it. Reps. Elizabeth Fiedler and Christina Sappey shepherded it through the PA House... (1/2)

Time is running out for people like Aidalis. If Congress fails to extend the enhanced ACA tax credits before they expire, millions will face unaffordable premiums & loss of coverage. Congress must protect healthcare, extend the tax credits, & reverse the deadly cuts to Medicaid!

“My healthcare costs are gonna skyrocket. I might have to drop out of the program,” says Lauren from Bucks County. If Congress lets the enhanced tax credits expire at the end of 2025, millions could lose coverage, and costs will spike for EVERYONE.

BREAKING: Starbucks baristas at Downtown Disney couldn’t stand another day of their managers’ unfair labor practices & kicked off our nationwide strike this weekend. These workers have shut down one of largest Starbucks stores in the country — and we’re just getting started! #NoContractNoCoffee

Cutting funding and failing to extend the ACA tax credits will make health care more expensive for everyone. People like Denise in Northampton county want affordable insurance that allows them to get the care they need, not catastrophic insurance at astronomical costs.

Thousands of Pennsylvanians are seeing the cost of health insurance spike bc some in Congress would rather shut down the government than protect affordable health care. Hear from home care worker Lynn on the importance of affordable healthcare for workers AND patients. No #HealthcareHeist!
