Does TanStack Form and a Zod schema with any optional field completely freaks out TypeScript? It's just a basic thing that I've been stuck on for a while and I'm pretty sure I'm stupid at this point because there is no way this doesn't just work out of the box.

The Netanyahu government’s extermination of Gaza intensifies. Malnutrition is rampant, children are starving to death, people are shot while waiting for meager food rations — and US weapons allow it to happen.

Trump and Congress must act NOW. Stop the slaughter. Feed the people.

@tkdodo.eu Hey, I couldn't find much on using @tanstack/query-core on its own with an in-house framework. I don't know how well this is supported - should it be as "simple" as wiring the state/reactivity systems or would there be more to it? I love this package and don't want to give it up! :)

Its mean to send a mail with a code and not put the code in the title

Of all the IDE integrated AI tools I've used, @jetbrains.com Junie seems to be the most "sane" one. It doesn't overdo things like error handling, logging etc. and integrates its changes very well within the existing architecture which is extremely important imo.

I wonder how much energy consumption LinkedIn causes by sending the most useless and irrelevant notifications ever - both via app and emails. It feels like turning them off for everyone would be more effective than attached bottle caps.

It's pretty evil making people think out of nowhere that Half Life 3 could be a thing.

Playing Avowed lately and pleasantly surprised. I felt that the general vibe around it was that its OK and if so brother what good games are you playing I wonder? This is def. something else with its art, map design and traversal.

Netanyahu has not allowed any aid into Gaza in 22 days. He broke the ceasefire, resuming a bombing campaign that has killed more than 50,000 people. Now he is threatening a long-term occupation of Gaza.

NO MORE MILITARY AID TO NETANYAHU’S WAR MACHINE.

In a React/TS project I'm working on, I'm suspecting major issues with imports/exports that cause a lot of weird edge cases. Like, if I run Biome's import sorter, the whole app breaks. If I import a single component for a test, the import graph is huge, etc. Are there any tools that might aid me?

RIP David Lynch. Only recently finished watching the 3rd season of Twin Peaks and what a delight it was. I've been watching a lot of interviews of him since, he seemed to be such a legit good guy. What a shame.

Delivering value to the people can be truly empowering and the lack of it devastating. Currently working with a team where software engineers being "protected" from users find their motivations and the day-to-day job satisfaction greatly diminished. Not the sole reason but huge factor.

I thought the "new" MS Teams was sort of a rewrite for better performance and yet it remains to be the most unresponsive live comm. app I had the displeasure of using???

I have a busier graph than I did last year though with many gaps still. I seem to really enjoy programming in bursts followed by a break - sometimes for good reasons and sometimes not so good reasons. Anyone else have a similar pattern?
