Our next talk is about Archbishop John Williams. He was born in Conwy and became an advisor to King James I. He was imprisoned on various occasions and even had a stint in the Tower of London!

Meini Hirion Bronze Age stone circle on the Carneddau mountain above Penmaenmawr. The Victorians called it 'the druid's circle' & made up stories about druids worshipping there because they liked doing that type of thing.
Meini Hirion means simply 'long stones'
