The Brown Shrike at St Davids today - a belter and a bit of a show off. Found it whilst driving down to Porthclais to look for Yellow-browed Warblers. First for Wales if accepted. Hope it sticks around. #birdingWales

3 Spotted Redshank, Ruff, Green Sandpiper & 2 Ringed Plover on Dowrog Pool today. A site created in 2024 that has attracted 14 species of wader in the last 4 weeks, including Pectoral & Wood Sandpiper, Greenshank LRP, Whimbrel, Black-tailed Godwit and Little Stint. #birdingWales

Both the Green-winged Teal and Pallid Harrier seen yesterday evening. The pair over-wintering within earshot of the cathedral bells at St Davids. The Harrier seen for 10 seconds as it bombed in to roost, so the pic is from November. ##birdingWales
