Watching a coup happen makes me feel a little bit like I felt when my parents got divorced. Now I'm in one of *those* countries. You know, the type with problems. The type you read about. I feel ashamed, though there's nothing I can do to stop it and it's not really my fault.

The people vote for a Democrat because they think the Democrat will bring down the price of eggs.

The people vote for a Republican when that fails. The Republican will make some people suffer so that the rest of the people can feel lucky that all they have to worry about is the price of eggs.

When I say that "trans women are women" I mean:

1. Trans women's bodies tend to react to estrogen in the same ways that cis women's bodies react to estrogen: we grow breasts, our skin becomes softer, our eyes appear larger.

I feel totally disconnected from new movies releases right now. Not sure if this is me aging out of Hollywood's target demographic, or if I'm just part of the trend away from mass collective entertainment.

Apparently there's a new Paddington movie? And that Gladiator sequel came out. Huh.
