By background, I'm a food biotechnologist, but I'm also now exploring coding. 😎
No rocket science here—just wanted to go from zero to launch on my own.

Tried extracting ingredients using predictive models.
Result? Meh. Not good enough.

I need raw ingredient lists — no AI rewording, no hallucinations.
The order, count, and completeness matter. A lot.

So I built a GPT to search product pages.
Worked great — but only in the web app.
No API.

Training a model.
Not for fun — for one very real pain in my app.

I have a list of 1,400 cosmetic products.
Right now, I’m enriching it via ChatGPT — field by field, one by one.
Why? Because I want my app to suggest better product parameters:

I’m not a developer.
But I need a backend — a playground for ideas, experiments, and shipping fast.

So I hired someone to set up a server and build a few endpoints.
What I got: “it works on my machine” level of chaos.
Endpoints half-broken, Docker configs tied to their GitLab, no docs, no clue. ⬇️
