Homicide prosecutor. Congressional investigator. First-generation American. Running to flip Florida’s 27th District in Congress.

I'm Robin Peguero, and I'm running for Congress to unseat Rep. María Elvira Salazar — because Miami deserves better.

It's time to write a new story for South Florida. Ponte las pilas — and let's get to work.
TFW (that face when) Salazar ties herself into knots defending her one true boss, the president, instead of defending her community.

I get asked: How are you going to motivate and mobilize young voters?

Meet them where they are. I was honored to speak at a high school in my community, @gulliverprep_.

And let me tell you: The kids are alright. They are brilliant, informed, and worried about the direction of the country.

“Thinking” about it? THINKING!? This isn’t a hard question. Are you on the side of child predators or are you not? Spineless.

This is disqualifying.

As a prosecutor, I put child predators behind bars. As a congresswoman, Maria Elvira Salazar is protecting them. Stop turning your back on child victims in service to their powerful abusers. Release the files.

Great seeing the former boss @raskin.house.gov and catching up about our work on the January 6th Committee.

As he reminded us, we’ve got a monopoly on the MORAL center. We’re in the fight for working Americans, and that’s what matters.

Growing up in Hialeah, “ponte las pilas” was a phrase I heard often. It means put in the batteries — or, let’s go! 🪫

And now, you can say it yourself with one of our exclusive new t-shirts!

For years, I put child predators behind bars. Maria Elvira Salazar — who refused to sign the Epstein discharge petition — is protecting them. We are not the same.

Put a finger down if your congresswoman sold you out today. Mine did!

Happy Veterans Day!

My parents had the same idea upon arriving in this country: enlist in the U.S. Army. While training in the same parts-ordering class, they met, felt a sense of home in each other, and they fell in love.

I am here because of it. I owe my very existence to America!

Esta economía es un arroz con mango y es la culpa de Salazar por siempre tener los intereses de las corporaciones y los billonarios en la mente y no a la clase media.

Proud to celebrate your 20-year anniversary, Cutler Bay. You don’t look a day over 18!

Guess who’s not here?@MaElviraSalazar. Table just as empty as her suit!

(But don’t worry: I’m told she’ll make some poor staffer not getting paid during this shutdown to do her job for her!)

This you?

Even she is seeing the writing on the wall.

You have betrayed us, Salazar. There’s no winning us back while you rob us blind of our health care to pay for tax breaks for billionaires and corporations and deport our neighbors without due process.

Change is coming. Last night was just the start.

I’ve looked up to @replindasanchez since I was a kid out of college working in the halls of Congress. She officiated at the wedding of one of my good friends who I met while in the @chcidc fellowship program. To have her backing means the world to me.

Thrilled to have the endorsement of Congressional Hispanic Caucus Bold PAC.

Today is Halloween, but the true horror story begins tomorrow.

Open enrollment begins Nov. 1, and for 300,000 of my neighbors who rely on ACA, they’ll see premium hikes of nearly double or triple their usual rate. 93,000 of them will be priced out of health care entirely.

Peguero y Peguero. (No hay relación … que sepamos).

Fue un placer estar en la Línea De Fuego contigo, Carolina.

Gracias por la invitación, prima! 😂

My father was a member of the @unitedteachersofdade. My mother was a member of the @lettercarriers.

I’ll always stand with workers. Janitors deserve a living wage, meaningful benefits, and safe working conditions. Thanks, @32bjseiu, for inviting me to march with you in my community.

Meet voters where they are. That’s the spirit of this campaign. In every corner of my community.
I’ve been doing it my whole life: From Hialeah to persuading juries.

Never sleep on Miami. We’re taking this seat back in 2026.

Thanks, @andyostroy.bsky.social, for having me on!

“There is no more fundamental issue for me than our democracy. And there is no candidate better suited to fight for these issues than Robin Peguero. Robin was on the front lines. He understands how fragile our democracy can be — and how close we came to losing it. I am proud to endorse him.”

Representative Annie Betancourt is a legend, the first Cuban-American Democrat elected to the Florida legislature since 1925, and I’m grateful to have her in my corner. Adelante!

At a food drive at Tropical Park that had a winding line of folks waiting for 3 hours because Salazar refuses to keep health care affordable. Trust, her gold-plated health care premiums aren’t increasing a dime. And she’s still getting her six-figure paycheck while she’s on vacation.
October 25, 2025 at 4:47 PM
Our seniors and veterans depend on SNAP benefits. The generation that took care of us. The ones who fought for our freedoms. They do not deserve to go hungry while Salazar pays games with people’s health care by refusing to keep premiums from doubling and tripling.
