Washington Post: Researchers found people with early, presymptomatic Alzheimer’s disease who did 3 to 5,000 steps a day slowed their cognitive decline 3 years vs. those who walked less. People who walked 5 to 7,000 steps daily delayed their decline an average 7 years.

Princeton U. announcement: free tuition for students of families earning up to $250,000.
Most families making up to $150,000 a year will pay nothing for their Princeton student’s tuition, housing, food, books and personal expenses. Most undergrad families earning up to $250,000 won’t pay tuition.

Museum goers: NYC’s Whitney Museum of American Art now has free admission daily for those 25 and younger. For everyone, admission to the Whitney is free Friday evenings and on the second Sunday of each month. Tickets still required.
