“They’re hiding behind a wall of innuendo” is the best summation of this administration I’ve heard yet.

Thank you @governorwalz.mn.gov

Trump is lying about the murder of Renee Nicole Good.

The ICE officer was NOT run over. Renee was a legal observer, a wife, and a mother exercising her First Amendment rights. She was shot anyway—and the agent fled the scene.

Call your electeds. Demand justice. Do not let this disappear.

Me, insisting we watch Frankenstein last night only to dose off as soon as the monster started recounting his story.

Introduced TheKid to “Fishing with John” tonight. “So, keep in mind this series predates YouTube and smartphones”
He loved it.

#criterionchannel is showing it’s worth already.

#Intermezzo by Sally Rooney was a wonderful read. Poignant, frustrating. The characters are steeped in the echos of Irish catholic guilt.

Maybe it hit me more because I binged it on the anniversary of my father’s death. 📚 #bookreview

One chapter left in my audiobook and Spotify tells me that I’ve reached my limit of free hours for the month. F-ing criminal format if you ask me.

I thought one book a month was included in my subscription, a civilized and respectful way of limiting my access. 📚

Starting the year on point with #pizzanight on Friday.

Tomato, Broccoli and garlic join #alwaysolives

Fun Fact: The tradition of pizzanight began to keep TheKid from asking and getting disappointed that pizza couldn’t be dinner every night.

Brian Walshe searched on his kid’s tablet if one can be charged for murder without a body (among other equally disturbing things). Now he knows the answer.

Have to admit, I did click the article link to verify this was not a direct quote. 😂

RIP Gil Gerard

I remember getting anxious if Saturday evening church service was taking too long because that meant missing the beginning of Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century. Time travel, corny costumes, flashy sets, amazing spaceships. That show had everything.

That’s a wrap for me on the Mass Center for the Book’s #readingchallenge this year! 📚 Have to say I appreciate December’s prompt is “Another book by an author you’ve already read” over last year’s “A well-reviewed book in your least favorite genre” 😆
