There was a (Netflix type) TV drama series, the storyline of which was based on prison firefighters. They were professionally trained teams sent out to wildfires and assist the regular firefighters.

I've seen tram network development in several French cities over the last 25 years (Marseille, Montpellier, Nice, Lyon, Bordeaux). Couple of years of traffic disruption then, clean reliable and AFFORDABLE transport. And all the city centres are transformed into people not car places!
