Naoise Dolan: Central Bank ‘powerless’ over sale of Israeli war bonds? That’s pathetic
For months, the Central Bank of Ireland has claimed its hands are tied. In order for Israel to sell its war bonds in the EU, a member state central bank needs to approve the prospectus. That’s us.

Ireland is being made complicit in funding genocide.

Irish Central Bank gives Israel the permission it needs to sell war bonds across the EU. No other central.

Sinn Féin legislation - Israeli War bonds Bill - will pull the plug on these war bonds.

Government must back this bill

👏🏼 This moment is for Cara, fair play to her and her father, Mark.

Taking a stand for the thousands of children left behind by FF-FG who must step up and deliver on the rights of children and their families.

🇵🇸 The Irish government must stop allowing Ireland to be used to fund Israel’s genocide in Palestine.

Mary Lou McDonald and I are introducing a Bill that will force the government to end the sale of Israeli war bonds through the Irish Central Bank.

Taoiseach is refusing to answer a simple question:

Did Jack Chambers make him aware of the Department of Finance's assessment that ruled out any hope of reaching 40,000 houses before the election campaign?

Yesterday we lost a great Republican whose commitment to Irish unity, peace and social justice was unwavering.
I always enjoyed his company, craic agus ceol.
His loss will be felt by all who had the privilege to know him.
Farewell Bik. 💔

Art Council €6.7m scandal leaves many questions to answer.

This government are serial wasters who are allergic to accountability.

We need to know who knew what when. And, we need to know if this was intentionally buried until after the election.

The Taoiseach has been caught out!

Today, Mary Lou McDonald was standing up for renters when he accused her of lying.

Then when when called out, he denied that he said it and refused to withdraw the remark.

It’s disgraceful stuff!

Fianna Fáil/Fine Gael have decided to throw renters to the wolves and take the side of the vulture funds.

Renters right across the country are already being fleeced, they simply cannot afford further rent hikes.

We will continue to fight the Government on this.

We need to end the sweetheart deals and finally tax real estate investment funds

Instead, the Taoiseach is boosting their share price talking about scraping rent pressure zones

Sacrificing renters to investment funds will not solve the housing crisis
