If we are being honest about it, for 90% of us if we were staring down the barrel of a 20+ million dollar NFL contract, we probably wouldn’t play in a non-playoff bowl game either.
If you want first round NFL prospects to play in bowl games, you’ll have to compensate them to make it worth the risk.
