Scholastic sent me 2 cases of stuff like this for a MS book fair, and while I love the idea of a book fair and I’ve reached out to the neighboring elementary school to see if we can get some kind of pop-up thing going, the juice does not feel worth the squeeze here.

I work at a morale-poor school and I’ve gotten into a habit of joining the “woe is us” chorus. I’m also an older librarian. Funny how these articles seem to sidle up beside me and clear their throats when I need them. Thanks, @drtlovesbooks.bsky.social

Y’all. This lady just sent me a passel of good nonfiction info. My Kindle is loaded with this book, my ChatGPT is warming up for some lesson planning, and I’m curled up in bed with a cup of tea. Laundry plans be damned.
