With *enough* paracausal defenses, it's safe for Lancers to leave their frames in combat for emergency repairs. It would require offensive technology beyond our current understanding to actually injure the pilot, after all.
A mixture of Harrison Armories and SSC technology has created an advanced hardsuit capable of stealth as well as blink technology to ensure that enterprising pilots are kept safe. Mostly. The translucent tails (a la the Dusk Wing frame) throw off sensors. keeping the pilot safe, and provide useful additional "arms" for a pilot climbing around their mech. The armor itself is capable of teleporting the pilot back into the safety of their cockpit when the personal shield fails, and the ears... Well the ears are a personal touch. Pictured: A SSC pilot working on a Union Task Force rodeos her mech to repair disrupted sensors, and put out dangerous fires in combat. She has purple hair, and is wearing grey, black, and brown armor designed to be fair unobstrusive. The holographic tails, borrowed from Dusk Wing tech, make it surprisingly difficult for hostile electronic and biological sensors to lock on to the pilot. The armor is also equipped with a personal shield to protect the pilot from lucky hits, as well as a short range teleporter to "blink" the pilot back into the cockpit. It'll knock the breath out of you, however, as the in the microsecond it takes to bring you to your cockpit, you won't *have* any lungs to hold air with.

I'm sure the Lancer universe has some future-tech material sold by SSC that lets you do stuff like this to your pantiehose without ruining them. It'll be more expensive than a lance of mechs, sure, but think of the AURA. And maybe your partner wants to flex those strength boosting augments! #art
Another take on the currently popular pantiehose caught on some high heels pose that *just* faded out of wildfire popularity, featuring my OC from my lancer campaign. Her long, waist length hair is down, draping over her shoulders. She is smiling at the camera, wearing a dark bra and pantiehose. The heels are black and purple, and 1 heel is caught on the material of the pantiehose, stretching the material over her butt and highlighting the curves. If you break this shit it's gonna be like the shock knives, and SSC lingeriesmiths are going to demand that you write a letter explaining why before they let you get another set. If the reason is GOOD (or HOT) enough, then they'll comment something nice though. Good thing most of them are himejoshis.

Having some fun drawing a completed piece after a few days of just doing basic studies and practice works. Life has been busy and stressful lately so it has been nice to get back to something fun and..completed for once. Drawing my Lancer OC also helps stave off the hunger for playing Lancer.
