Had a lady stop us in Walmart to ask a bunch of questions about Voodoo. He had so much more patience than me or the person I was with. She was being nice, but still, please leave disabled people alone. I was already exhausted from the quick shopping trip and she dragged it out so long #servicedog

Voodoo the briard got to go out and just be a pet today. He had fun, he loves meeting people and obviously can't while working, but he still kept an eye on me and tried to task despite not being in service dog gear. 12/10 Heckin good boy

Reminder that "pit bulls" were never nanny dogs, and that's *okay*. Perpetuating inaccurate, made up falsehoods does nothing to help the breed as they actually are, it sets them up for failure. Learn about actual genetic breed traits, encourage responsible ownership and training, etc but for the love of God, do not let your dog (of any breed) nanny your children, do not let your children climb on them or pull on them, etc. And no, I will not be arguing about it (: dogsofthreads

Rehoming pets is not a sin. Serial rehomers/people not doing research are problematic, but in most cases people are trying to make the best choice for the pet. Most pets adjust just fine & Id always rather the animal be whereever is best equipped for them/wants them. Shaming people for it hurts pets
