Anytime we bring on new people (students, postdocs, staff, faculty), I always wish we had more spots based on the number of many amazing applicants.

I like to follow the careers of the people who we couldn't hire, and I get a big smile when I see their successes. Keep it up!

Camping in Utah is like video games in the late 90s. You hear info about a special spot, find vague directions online from a sketchy website, spend hours following unmarked roads wondering if this is a waste of time, and then get to the destination and it lives up to the hype.
