It is because they haven't received the printed ballots with candidates names on them yet for you to put a check mark on, candidate selection for the parties just finished up recently

It doesn't boil, just heats to below a boil. So I wouldn't use it!
I am thankfully on a well and don't have to worry about it at home, only at work!

For those complaining they have to boil their water before using it (for the second time in 7 months) think of the indigenous folks who for some have had to do it for years/their entire lives! Yes it sucks, but I could always be worse! Perspective for you!
