One thing the TikTok ban discourse has not included is that many TikTok creators privately do not like TikTok, which of course they’re not saying because none of us want it banned.
It’s a brutal creative ecosystem that extracts from creators until they burnout and then they are replaced.

I guess I’ll have a lil more space in my bookshelf again now that I’ll get rid of anything written by Neil Gaiman, including the beautiful Sandman collector editions.

Right after the people that tragically lost their lives in the fires, probably the saddest outcome. A home in the US is an investment, and often the main one. That’s in stark contrast to a place like, say, Japan.

I’m at this point in my life where I’m so frustrated about the current state of web development that I’d rather write everything from scratch each time than to bother with bundling, transpiling, vdom etc. preserves my mental health.
