The GOP and Trump voters are absolutely terrified of Trump. They love him but he scares them all. They repeat any phrase he says, wear his name, give up friends & family for him BUT they never ever dare to criticize him because they know the tribe turns on you when you do. That’s why it’s a cult.

Boy these corporations couldn’t WAIT to get rid of DEI policies. DT had one of the smallest popular vote victories in history (by NO means a mandate) and corporations are like “Loud and clear, America. Diversity bad!”

One thing to keep in mind is all cults end terribly. When the followers eventually realize the leader was trolling them the whole time and they’ve lost everything (family, friends, jobs) for that one person, it gets spicy.

It doesn’t matter that Republicans ran with this story, and it makes no difference if they admit this was a lie. It confirmed the bias and there’s no way to undo that.
