Thomar Boutique Hotel's very reasonably priced and has more than you could ask for if you're staying in Tomar.

My review covers all the reasons you should stay here but just admire that view. If that's not enough, give this a read! #portugal #travel

Parents always joke about being sick all the time with toddles in daycare but shit, it really is mentally exhausting to have a constant cold.

Paid $12 to get a danish from the local bakery through DoorDash today because it was snowing and I didn’t feel like going out in it.

I regret nothing.

Has anyone else who uses GetYourGuide as an affiliate seen your sales plummet since November? I know the holidays but seems like I’d have sold something in January.

Planning a little 5-day trip without Ava in February. She’ll be 1.5 years old. One grandparent was fine with watching her for a couple days. The other grandparent was okay with it but shamed us saying she’s too young to go that long without us. Now wife feels guilty.

That’s not too young…right??

Hurt my neck tilting down to take a bite of my 25th or so sausage while doing Christmas in Bavaria a few years ago. Could barely turn all the way to the left or look up for a couple days.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

😅

Trying to put together a pitch to my wife for a trip to the Baltics. Probably 6-7 full days. With that said, which capital would you fly into: Tallinn or Vilnius? One of them we’d likely spend a bit more total time in than the other. They each seem to have their own pros and cons.

Had a busy 24 hours prepping Christmas Eve dinner (lasagna) and 3 bakes for Christmas. The Yule log is the proudest I’ve been yet with a baking result! The cinnamon rolls were very good (pre-iced). The dinner rolls don’t look great but they turned out okay, the worst of the 3 tho. #christmas

Just basically spent 24 hours baking and cooking and I’m not done yet. About four dozen cookies, a lasagna, cinnamon rolls up to the 2nd proof, dinner rolls up to the 2nd proof, and the cake rolled up for a Yule log. Christmastime, amirite?

The Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal

The ticket price is a bit high but there’s no denying this is a beautiful church with ints of Saint-Chappelle in Paris and a very impressive altar. #montreal #canada #notredame #churchsky #canadasky #churchesoftheworld

The Redpath Museum in Montreal is my kind of natural history museum. Old construction with a bunch of things thrown somewhat higgledy piggledy together in cases. Oh and free. #montreal #canada #mcgilluniversity #museums

First day of Montreal in the books. No Christmas markets yet but we did check out Notre Dame Basilica, Chateau Ramezay and just generally explored.

It’s so disgusting how hard this administration is fighting to prevent funding SNAP. If you’re on the side that wants to starve people, you’re on the wrong side.
