But #BlueSky on the other hand, I think we all know how special we are…
A lot of people have asked, in all seriousness, if we would leave NYC after Zohran's victory.

The short answer is "no." The long answer is here:
No, we're not moving
We saw in this race that it isn’t enough to be against a candidate. You have to sell a vision that is more compelling than that of your competitor, no matter how delusional that platform may be.

In fairness, it’s the player not the putter. My index = my fault.

Great to be on the show, Chris!

Sportscaster Jim Lampley loved O.J. Simpson, which made the realization that O.J. DID IT particularly painful.

Jim shared lots of great stories from his 4-decade+ career and new memoir with me on the most recent episode of Reasonably Happy pod.

Should you take the money?

Sure. Just be honest with yourself about the strings attached and whether you are fully prepared to abide by them.

Free Speech or Free Lunch?
You Can’t Have Both and anyone who is surprised by this should know better. Maybe they should have taken Professor Ben Bolch's Economics class at Rhodes College in the late '80s.

"Do you believe in God?"

That's what ‘Cults Like Us’ author Jane Borden asked me on this week’s episode of the ‘Reasonably Happy’ podcast. And here's my answer.

How about you - do you believe in the Big G?

True. But AirPods are amazing.
Many New Yorkers believe the city is best appreciated on foot. But the teeming streets — packed with cars, bikes and a growing number of other vehicles — became increasingly hostile to pedestrians in 2024, city statistics show.
‘Walkable’ New York City Became Deadlier for Pedestrians in 2024
The city said overall traffic deaths were down compared with 2023, and the number was still far lower than it was before the city adopted its Vision Zero safety program.

It was a thrill to talk w/ Paul Shaffer this week. I read his memoir to prep & couldn't get over the role he played in the comedy that informed my sensibilities. Whether an SNL skit, movie cameo, or 4k+ Letterman’s, he made them better w/ musical sophistication & Sammy Davis-like showbiz banter.

Economics sounds like it's all about $ but it's really the study of decision-making. Some economic concepts can help us eat better, unless we ignore them.
