We saw in this race that it isn’t enough to be against a candidate. You have to sell a vision that is more compelling than that of your competitor, no matter how delusional that platform may be.

It was a thrill to talk w/ Paul Shaffer this week. I read his memoir to prep & couldn't get over the role he played in the comedy that informed my sensibilities. Whether an SNL skit, movie cameo, or 4k+ Letterman’s, he made them better w/ musical sophistication & Sammy Davis-like showbiz banter.
