I remember Hegseth’s vision of the military from the Sgt Rock comics I enjoyed as a kid. Probably not the kind of guy you’d want flying modern aircraft, controlling a drone or directing a covert operation.

I’m not sure the word “ANTI-ICE”, allegedly found on bullets in belonging to the shooter at the Dallas ICE facility qualifies as a “message”. And I’m a little skeptical of the message-on-a-bullet thing after the Kirk assassination. Could a MAGA cop or FBI have scrawled that before taking the photo?

If Trump is tricked into returning Alaska to Russia during his meeting with Putin on Friday, I can only hope that he will follow up by returning the Louisiana Purchase to France. That would make me a French citizen and free me from the daily stress of dealing with Trump’s insanity.

Watching Trump share (to the extent he will allow) a press conference with other heads of state is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It all seems so unreal, like a movie. Actually, if he weren’t really the POTUS, it would be funny, like the Teddy Roosevelt character in Arsenic And Old Lace.

Maybe the White House should do a little more research before fabricating excuses for Trump’s bruising. The American College of Cardiology (ACC) & the American Heart Association (AHA) updated their guidelines in 2019 to recommend against routine aspirin use for primary prevention in adults over 70.
