Introducing Aidan to this stone-cold classic.
October 19, 2025 at 5:42 PM
As planned, tonight Aidan and I watched Day Of The Dead. Been years since I watched these movies, but they all held up very well.

Took a break from zombies to watch werewolves with Aidan instead. An American werewolf, in fact.

Last night I got to introduce Aidan to two of my all-time favourite movies with Night Of The Living Dead and Dawn Of The Dead. Next week, Day Of The Dead!

Found these at Morrisons - as big a fan as I am of Reese’s, I’m an even bigger fan of seasonal branding.

It’s release day for Kill Zone, the Tom Rollins prequel! I’ve been very excited to share this story. Here we see Tom at the very beginning of his CIA career, on his first mission in Afghanistan, on the border with Iran, and his first meeting with Zeke Greene. Check 🧵for links.

In my continuing quest to see All The Films, I got these today. That Woodfall collection has some real gems in it. I also never realised that Billy Liar has the same director as Midnight Cowboy, which is one of my favourite films.

Dublin book haul! Made sure to leave plenty of space in the suitcase heading over. Most of these are from Chapters bookstore and a couple are from the gift shops at Kilmainham Gaol and the Book Of Kells.

While in Dublin, I finally got to meet in person one-half of the founders of my publisher, Inkubator Books. I was broke when we started working together, now I write full-time. It’s no exaggeration to say that Brian changed my life.

Rachael and I spent this week in a VERY hot Dublin. I’d been led to believe Ireland can be quite cold, wet even, but my experience has told me otherwise. Practically Mediterranean and I won’t believe anything else. Enjoy this assortment of pictures from a gaol to James Joyce.
